   Do your best to not let your vehicle idle for more than 30 seconds. Anything more than this can waste fuel. If your car needs to warm up, driving it is the quickest way.
   
   Driving at high speeds and aggressively will also burn gas quicker.
   
   Use the AC when it's needed.
   
   Keep the weight low in your vehicle. This means taking out any unnecessary items in the trunk etc. Less weight means your vehicle  doesn't have to work as hard to move.
   
   Carpooling is another way to save on gas and helps by having less vehicles on the road.

Lou Bachrodt/First Northern Credit Union Event supports ICASA “Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault” and the Carson & Barnes Circus!

This Saturday, August 10^th from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall, First Northern Credit Union, and various local organizations are teaming up to support the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA).  The Carson & Barnes Circus will be at the Rockford Speedway on August 14^th and 15^th to help benefit this great organization. The Carnes and Barnes Circus.... the World's Largest Big Top Circus celebrating 77 years of touring the USA.  This year when they come to Illinois all of their shows benefit the ICASA chapter in Rockford to bring awareness to this organization and celebrate the Survivors Under the Stars!

During those hours, you can come by and visit with representatives from ICASA and register to win circus tickets and other prizes.  Summerfield Zoo, a local zoo in Belvidere, will be on hand with some animals for the kids to see!
